The Metasequoia Namiki

Hokkaido is not the only place with long, straight roads in Japan. The Metasequoia Namiki spans approximately 2.4km. The road is lined with about 500 metasequoia trees that put on fresh green leaves in spring and red leaves in autumn, and can be enjoyed all year round.
